Ceramic tiles :

We arrange ceramic tiles on screed or we glue it, inside or outside and we can keep the old one.

We have an extensive variety of ceramic tiles.

Earthenware :

We can arrange the earthenware in different ways : Straight, diagonal, cut joint style, with addition of decorative elements such as frieze, borders, strips... For italian showers, the floor can be coverd with enamel, stones or ceramic tiles cut into diamond shapes.

Plasters

We make traditional plaster and lay down plaster blocks

We usually make a coating with interior plaster 857 from Lafarge. The manual application is used specifically to join 2 elements or to create decorative elements such as corniches, ceiling roses, etc...

For more important renovations, we can use plaster blocks. The different techniques available allow a freedom in the choice of finishes : with or without insulation, on metalic framework, etc...

Interior Masonry

Making the Interior Masonry

Bricks, concrete blocks, plaster blocks... partition blocks type "Carrobric Isophon 98" are ideal bricks to optimize acoustic insulation between rooms. We can cover the bricks with lime coating type Monolys

Interior decoration, fully finished kitchen, ceramic tiles work surface, elements installation, ironworks...

Painting

Lime interior painting and traditional painting

Lime painting :

Lime painting has historically been used on the inside and the outside of buildings. It protects the underlying material (stones, bricks, wood...), covers the fissures and can be coloured. The high pH of the lime discourages bacteria. Lime is a biological and natural product. Lime mortar is permeable to steam but not permeable to water. Water can evaporate from walls which means it can significantly contribute to the evaporation of humidity inside a house.

Traditional Painting :

Preparation of the surface and finish (stripping the existing wall, filing cracks, coating, application of special finishes..)

Applications : painting (glycerol or acrylic..), wall paper, wall covering....

Floors

Our different floors

According to the plan and different constraints of the house, we can suggest different types of floors.

Concrete floors

Girder floors are usually comprised of concrete girders with cement in between. This has the advantage of being able to support a heavy load but they are really heavy.

« Clay roof » floors : they have the same characteristics as a conventional floor but the under surface is left open. It is not necessary to install a false ceiling.

Steel girder floors , these floors are used in between.

Wooden floors

Traditonal wooden floors. Wooden Planks and purlin with light granuland screed.

Wooden floor with Nail Web beams : Nail Web purlins with insertion of wooden planks.

Roof

Traditional roof with channel tiles

Renovation can be partial (repair of guttering, waterproofing...) or comprehensive.

Traditional rooves are made with purlins, rafters, struts and tiles. During a comprehensive renovation, we replace all elements without the inhabitants having to move out temporarily.

Many finishes are possible :

Traditional renovation : removing tiles, struts, rafters and if necessary the purlins. Then we replace the rafters, we change the planks nailed to the rafters, the flexible tiles and the channel tiles. We usually keep some of the old tiles to reuse them at a later time.

Renovation of sandwich purlins : same principle as before : the difference is adding a layer of rafters, a rafter box which makes sure the roof structure is between the purlins, roof insulation and the inside face. These boxes have the advantage of being able to leave most of the purlins exposed on the under side and they have a good insulation ratio.

We have different tiles and struts to recommend for traditional renovations.
